Executive Event Planner & Coach

With over 15 years of event experience in the USA, Canada and Africa, Astou is a pure planner with a passion for people connection and event concept engineering.

As a trainer & coach, she is also a Co-Director of Event Pro International, a training & coaching agency she has been running with her associate since 2012 and whose vision is to professionalize all fields of the event industry in Africa. She has helped train and develop a network of over 150 Wedding & Event Planners and Designers across a dozen African countries (mostly French speaking). 

She believes that every event is an adventure. Not only for the clients and the planners but also for the guests and even for each vendor who plays a part in the execution.

Her love of travel and passion for all things related to African cultural and touristic treasures inspired her to develop the "Get Married in Africa" brand which will be one of the agency's main stellar services.

She holds a MBA from the University of Texas A&M in Texas (USA) and is also a Certified Wedding Specialist (CWS) with Weddings Baeutiful Worldwide, Africa division. She continuously attend conferecens, seminars and keep pursuing additional training in this ever-evolving field of event management.
